Conny Jager is a Calgary-based artist that produces work from her home studio. She is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters of Watercolour, the Society of Canadian Artists, and has shown for several years with Fabriano Acquarello as part of the Canadian team of watercolour artists in Italy. Her work has won several awards and has been juried into national and international on-line and in-person exhibitions such as Women in Watercolour, San Diego Watercolour Society, the Open Water exhbitions.
All of Conny's paintings are based on her own photography and painted on archival quality paper with professional watercolours. Her work is available for sale through Riverview Artist or the Calgary Artist Society, or by contacting her directly through this website.
Conny's work is known for it's intricacy or detail with special attention towards light and shadow. Due to the level of detail in her work, each piece can take 20-120 hours to complete.
