Body of Work > Abstracts

The detail and complexity of the majority of my artwork is balanced with my love of exploration and colour of these abstracts. These paintings are completed with more speed and larger brushes than my other work. I prefer to use a limited palette so I can focus on textures and movement of the paint. These paintings have 5 to 20 layers of paint, depending on how opaque I want the final image to be.
