If you ask me what type of artist I am, I would say a landscape painter. I love perspective and urban scenes. As I go through my inventory, though, I find a plethora of flora and fauna that almost rivals my urban scenes. I prefer to zoom in on the plant life rather than place it in a field or a garden. I love the same things about flora as I do about urban scenes. There's repetition of shapes, a sense of depth, a fullness and hustle and bustle to a group of leaves or flowers that parallels a wall of windows or street full of cars. There is an order, but also individuality in all aspects of a flower that give each one a personality.
