Nighttime scenes have very different light as all light is unnatural, or human-made. It creates warmth, makes shadows go in various directions, reduces clarity, and adds intimacy. This piece was particularly challenging with the arched ceiling and glow from the beautiful lantern-type lights hanging from the ceiling.
