Body of Work > GRIFFITH WOODS

Griffith Woods is a small park that meanders through the Elbow River valley, only 10 minutes from my home. I walked through these woods in the fall of 2010, during a spectacularly sunny day, and this series is based in photographs taken within one hour, on one walk, on one day, through Griffith Woods. I chose to focus on intimate imagery, rather than the traditional landscape, so my focus is on colour, shapes, reflections, light, and texture.
